We started in 2024 with one simple belief: every chonky cat deserves a clothing line, a profile page, and a fan club. We are still working on the fan clubs.
In the fall of 2024, our founder Maya tried to buy a cardigan for her 19-pound tuxedo, Biscuit. Every “XL cat sweater” came up short — too narrow at the chest, too snug at the neck, and frankly, not flattering.
So she started patterning her own. Word got out. Within six months, FatCatCatalog had outfitted 800 cats and shipped its first physical volume — a 64-page seasonal lookbook printed on heavyweight matte stock, mailed to every member.
The site you're on now is what came next: a place for members to register their cats, share fits, and find each other. Biscuit, of course, remains employee #001.
Every garment is patterned on real cats and tested by real cats. If a cat refuses to wear it, the cat is correct, and we go back to the drawing board.
We design for the 12 lb to 28 lb range that mainstream cat brands ignore. Loaves are the goal, not the exception.
Each season we mail every member a physical 64-page volume. Members read it on the floor. Their cats sit on it.
No infinite feed, no algorithm. Just profiles, weekly features, and a buddy list capped at twenty cats.

“The only catalog where my 22-pound Maine Coon is treated like the protagonist he believes himself to be.”
